They have no access to food, decent medical care, or even the company of a family member. Malnutrition and anemia are silently taking their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One such case is that of Grandma Luisa, a woman who has lived most of her life in extreme loneliness. Her story is heartbreaking. Many years ago, she lost her sister and, with that, took on the responsibility of raising her nephew as if he were her own son. However, tragedy struck again: her nephew also passed away, leaving her in total abandonment. Since then, she has lived in inhumane conditions, in a deteriorated house, with a dangerous floor and an unsafe roof. Thousands of elderly people live in misery, without attention, without health care, and without access to basic food.
