They interact structurally, reinforcing patterns of educational exclusion that disproportionately affect children in rural Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While national enrollment indicators suggest progress, disaggregated territorial analysis reveals a persistent education inequality rooted in geography, infrastructure deficits, and unequal public investment. For adolescents, especially girls and indigenous students, the combined pressure of economic precarity and geographic remoteness frequently results in delayed enrollment, irregular attendance, or school dropout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This dynamic reflects a structural failure to guarantee the right to education under conditions of territorial equity. Education inequality in rural Peru is not merely a consequence of household income; it is the outcome of systemic disparities in public infrastructure, service distribution, and institutional presence across territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evidence shows that children exposed simultaneously to poverty and territorial isolation are significantly more likely to abandon secondary education. The result is an intergenerational transmission of disadvantage: lower educational attainment reduces access to formal employment, weakens economic mobility, and perpetuates rural marginalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing rural education requires integrated strategies that recognize the interaction between poverty and geography. Investments in accessible secondary schools, teacher retention policies, culturally relevant curricula, digital inclusion, and conditional economic support are not isolated interventions\u2014they are structural correctives to the territorial gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A rights-based approach demands that public and civil society actors move beyond enrollment metrics and focus on sustained educational trajectories.
