Through the power of education, AGAPE HAND has transformed thousands of lives and now has the mission to transform millions more.
In the most disadvantaged Indigenous communities of Peru, such as the Shipibo-Konibo communities of the Amazon, access to education remains deeply unequal. In remote rural and Native communities, more than 4 out of every 10 girls and boys do not attend school, and many of those who do enroll drop out before completing secondary education.
For Indigenous girls, the barriers are even greater. The lack of uniforms, notebooks, school supplies, and menstrual hygiene products forces thousands of girls to leave school, limiting their opportunities and perpetuating cycles of poverty.
Today, you can change the story of a girl. With your support, we can ensure she stays in school, continues learning, and builds a dignified future for herself, her family, and her community.
